Tammy has been with the Total Life Recovery Program since its inception. She initially joined the team in 2003 as a painting instructor to teach “one stroke painting” to the first group of participants. She later received training in the Genesis Process to become a Genesis counselor. Through the years, she has continued ongoing Genesis training and now assists in training new counselors. For the past ten years, Tammy has been a member of Windward New Hope where she serves as the Prison Ministry Coordinator. She also serves on the Baptism, Communion and Inspire Sunday Service teams. In February 2008, Tammy was appointed as a state chaplain serving at the Women’s Community Correctional Center. In 2011, she became the TLR Program Director. She continues to bring her unique dedication and pastoral presence to the offenders, staff and families. In her ongoing pursuit for excellence, she has been trained in Crises Intervention, Trauma Informed Care, Therapeutic Communities and Level of Service Inventory. Tammy is also pursuing her degree from Wheaton College in their Chaplaincy Credentialing Program.
