Transitioning women’s stories

Total Life Recovery Transitional Housing

Our Home

Total Life Recovery is committed to expanding our program beyond prison walls with plans to develop a self-sustaining, faith-based transitional home as an aftercare program. A two-story, mixed-use property in Honolulu would provide live-work opportunities, safety and security for re-entry while creating revenue for sustainability. The home would serve offenders who have successfully completed the TLR Program and are preparing themselves to re-enter society as well as women in transition who are underserved and facing high levels of risk.

She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. Proverbs 31
